International Society for Equitation Science Annual International Conference, Sweden 31 July - 2 August 2010
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences is delighted to announce that the ISES will be holding its next International Conference in Uppsala, Sweden, 31 July – 2 August 2010.
The Conference aims to stimulate debate about how an interdisciplinary approach of learning, training and education can improve horse welfare and human safety. The 3-day conference will feature scientific presentations in combination with keynote plenary talks and practical demonstrations held at the Swedish National Equestrian Centre in Strömsholm.
Equine scientists, veterinarians, industry leaders, policy makers, practitioners, and coaches including other professionals involved in training and caring for horses are welcome to discuss latest research findings and their implications in everyday practice.
Conference registration and abstract submission will open in December 2009.
