Recognised as leaders in training psychology and practice, the AEBC approaches classical training from the formal principles of modern animal psychology. This provides a very different view of foundation and general training and sets the AEBC apart in the world of professional horse trainers.

Starting with an emphasis on foundation training, the AEBC conducts regular horse training and retraining of all problems in:
  • Foundation training of young horses and foals
  • Dressage (from preliminary to FEI level)
  • Jumping - showjumping and cross-country
  • Entering and still in the starting gates
  • Galloping straight and accelerating obediently
  • Floating/trucking
  • 'Coming up' on command
  • Shoeing calmly
  • Performance/tricks

The AEBC also conducts a range of education programmes for people, including those who wish to undertake a career in foundation training (breaking-in), pursue a career in dressage/performance horse training, or simply improve their basic riding or horse handling skills.
